My Story

Hi, I’m Jena! Thanks for stopping by to learn more about me and the creation of Mindful.Little.Yogi.

My journey begins and continues in Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania. I spent 15 incredible years in public education, including 14 years as a classroom teacher in the Allentown School District. After earning my teaching degree from Kutztown University, I dedicated myself to creating a classroom rooted in relationships, where children could discover their potential and learn tools to support their overall well-being.

When the pandemic began, I felt a deep calling to follow my passion for mindfulness and yoga, extending these practices beyond the four walls of my classroom. This led to the creation of Mindful.Little.Yogi, where I now serve as an independent yoga and mindfulness instructor, specializing in a trauma-informed approach.

Through this work, my hope is to empower today’s youth with tools to trust and love themselves, regulate emotions, reduce stress, and strengthen their mind, body, and heart.

I’ve continued my own growth along this journey, earning certifications in mindfulness and yoga through Yoga Renew, Mindful Schools, and Yoga Ed, along with specialized training in Trauma-Informed Practices, Yoga for Children and Teens, YIN Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Mindfulness, and Sound Healing.

To those that have practiced alongside me, shared this journey with their children, or supported me in countless ways - thank you for being a part of my story.

This chapter is just beginning and I am so excited to share it with you!
