Yoga and Mindfulness for Children, Teens, and Families

Hello! Thank you for stopping by! My name is Jena and I’m so happy you’re here.

During my 15 years in public education, I saw the impact that mindfulness, yoga, and social emotional learning skills can have on the lives of children. While utilizing these practices in my daily routine, I began to integrate just as many tools and exercises into my classroom. I believe that by allowing these tools and practices to be accessible to all (especially young children), that we are giving our youth the opportunity to better experience life, rather then just get through it.

In an effort to empower our youth and create a more mindful community, Mindful.Little.Yogi was born.

Though lessons, workshops, and special events, Mindful.Little.Yogi strives to introduce children and adolescents to tools and practices designed to improve concentration, build emotional regulation, strengthen self-awareness, increase compassion and empathy, deepen communication skills, find balance, recognize one’s self-worth, increase physical strength, and gain a deeper understanding into the mind-body connection.
